MA TO HOST LEGALSIGHTSEEING @ LILLE, FRANCE (MARCH 9, 2022)

As part of MA’s Visiting Professorship at the Law Faculty of the Catholic University of Lille in France, where she is teaching a course on “The Art of Advocacy in European Union and International Law”, MA has invited Dr Renske Vos (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) and Dr Sofia Stolk (T.M.C Asser Instituut) to participate in a graduate seminar on Architecture and Law. Dr Vos and Dr Stolk co-direct a research project entitled Legal Sightseeing, which investigates how international law presents itself ‘to the public’ and explores what that public shows up for. Findings are presented through a photo blog on www.legalsightseeing.org. They are also co-editors of a special issue on brutalist institutional architecture and of an edited volume titled International Law’s Collected Stories (Palgrave 2020).
