Artist Retreat @ Monte Verità, Ascona (Switzerland) (15-16 September, 2018)

MA spent a few days at Monte Verità in Ascona, Switzerland which is a former artist colony and is now an ETH Zurich conference & cultural facility which includes a hotel, museum and tea plantation. The hotel (which includes a Bechstein grand piano) was designed by Emil Fahrenkamp. It is situated in a park which also contains an out-door performance space and a sculpture (icosahedron) commemorating Rudolf Laban, who created a “School of Art” on Monte Verità from 1913-1918.
